- | | description= The research team Edelweiss aims at offering models, methods and techniques for supporting knowledge management and collaboration in virtual communities interacting with information resources through the Web. This research results in an ergonomic graph-based and ontology-based platform. The team is a follow-up of the Acacia team with 15 years of experience in graph-based knowledge representation and 10 years of experience in designing and developing CORESE [32] a graph-based search and rule engine for semantic web frameworks (RDF, RDFS, SPARQL, OWL Lite, RDFa). The team is also involved in W3C activities (GRDDL, RDFa) and in the development of the first version of SweetWiki and the underlying semantic web server SeWeSe. Another research direction of Edelweiss relevant to Kolflow is interaction design. Also, more recently Edelweiss started to work on Folksonomies and on other frameworks like SKOS. Finally members of Edelweiss have been involved in more than six European projects and three RNTL/RNRT/ANR projects before. | + | | description= The research fields of this team are graph-oriented knowledge representation, reasoning and operationalization to model and support actors, actions and interactions in web-based epistemic communities. |
